Ingredients :

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar powder
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tsps almonds sliced

Step :

  1. Preheat the oven to 360°F.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients including almond slices.
  3. Now add the room temp butter and mix well with the flour mixture to form a soft dough.
  4. Roll the dough on to a cling wrap.
  5. Cut out desired shapes and sprinkle some powder sugar on top.
  6. Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet lined tray.
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes or until light golden brown.
  8. Cool and store in an air tight container.
